Kate was born and raised in South London, lived in North West London whilst at university, before settling in Fulham, West London, where she's been for the past six years. Now Kate is just about to leave the capital and head up to Manchester – another city that has always been close to her heart. It's strange leaving her hometown after so many years, but living outside the M25 for the first time fills her with an immense sense of excitement; hopefully some great adventures are headed her way!

Who or what last made you laugh out loud
Watching John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight is the only way to get through the realities of the world in its current state.
Who or what inspires you
Being surrounded by so many incredible friends who are working extremely hard to see their dreams become reality. My best friend took a giant leap of faith and set up her own cake business a few years ago and is becoming a well-known face in the industry, and another has gone from fashion blogger to start-up entrepreneur and has just opened her own bricks and mortar shop in central London. There is nothing like seeing you closest friends succeed to make you feel you really can achieve anything you put your mind to.
Your words to live by
Good ideas start with great coffee.
What cause or causes do you feel passionate about
Supporting Fairtrade brands that offer better prices, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in developing countries. Being mindful as I shop is such a simple action, but one that can have a long-lasting positive impact in the lives of those that really need it.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given
Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.
Your London in an hour
Grab a take-out coffee from Ground Coffee Society in Putney and enjoy a leisurely walk along the Thames towards Richmond.
Your favourite London view
It’s a classic, but the view across London from the top of Primrose Hill gets me every time.
Are you working on anything at present
I’ve just sold my half of my PR & Communications agency to my business partner in advance of my move up to Manchester, so after I’ve relocated I’ll be setting myself up as a freelancer and throwing my heart and soul back into my blog, which has been a tad neglected over the past few years. I really miss blogging when I’m so busy with other things, so am so excited to get back into things properly!
Describe your style
Denim + stripes, stripes + denim.
Whose style do you most admire, past or present
I have such a crush on Clémence Poésy’s nonchalant quirky French girl style, but Jane Birkin is the eternal style icon.
Favourite piece from the ENLIST collection
The pink Bomber Jacket in Silk Crepe De Chine is the perfect foil to my everyday denim + stripes combo - the colour is simply divine!
