Mr Hudson is a British musician from Birmingham, currently living between London and LA. First rising to prominence in 2006, with Mr Hudson and the Library, Hudson is now a successful solo artist & writer/producer, collaborating with Kanye West, Jay Z, Duran Duran & most recently DJ Snake.

Birmingham, England is home but these days I hang my hat in Los Angeles.

Memes on Instagram make me laugh every morning while I'm drinking my first cup of coffee.

It's nice to be nice.

What cause or causes do you feel passionate about
All I really care about is music. I'd like to do something to encourage young people to learn real instruments. Laptops are so powerful but it's important to learn the fundamentals with a musical instrument.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given
Safe is dangerous.

Your London in an hour
It's predictable but it's got to be an aperitif on the Southbank at sunset. In the words of William Wordsworth "earth hath not anything to show more fair" which suggests he hadn't travelled much. OR in the words of Ray Davies "As long as I gaze on Waterloo sunset, I am in paradise".

Your favourite London view
I've not been up the shard but the top of the gherkin was spectacular enough.

Are you working on anything at present
As always I am spinning several plates but my focuses are my new record and working with Jake Shears. He's threatening to take me to New Orleans.

Whose style do you most admire, past or present
Bowie, because he could do extreme fashion and the next day a suit or beatnik look. He had so many levels.
