Matt Barber is best known for his role as Atticus Aldridge in the award winning television series Downton Abbey, and is now starring as Fred in the acclaimed West End Production of Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany's alongside Georgia May Foote. He lives in London with his wife Cecilia.

Who or what last made you laugh out loud
My wife. I think. I can’t remember why but we seem to laugh a lot together. Generally at each other. But in a nice way. You know.

Who or what inspires you
Anyone who works hard and sticks at something until they achieve it. Everyone goes through ups and downs, no matter how they present on the outside and people that ride these waves and turn them into successes are inspirational.

Your words to live by
Work Harder.

What cause or causes do you feel passionate about
The current refugee crises are horrendous. I’d love to do more for anyone affected by this. Hey - that’s a good goal for 2017. I’m also a GOSH baby so am beginning to work with them on various things.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given
Rudyard Kipling’s IF. My Grandpa gave it to me before I went to boarding school when I was 7 and I was able to read it at his funeral a few years ago. I mean - it says it all right?

Your London in an hour
Not sure what this is asking. I ride a motorbike so my london in an hour can be very eclectic.

Your favourite London view
Any high panoramas from roof top bars are awesome. I love the light up southbank from the river. Infact, the view from the river at night is so cool. That’s probably my fave.

Are you working on anything at present
Breakfast at Tiffany’s at the Theatre Royal Haymarket with Pixie Lott, soon to be on UK tour with Georgia May Foote. That’s likely going to see me through to the end of the year for acting, but I’m also producing several films as well which is taking up a lot of time.

Describe your style 
I guess I have two. Laid back is jeans, trainers, t shirts and jumpers and smart is clean cut shirts with stiff collars. I love a good shirt and love seeing people wearing them. You can spot one a mile off.

Whose style do you most admire, past or present
Anyone who looks good, makes bold choices with their style (whatever that may be) and takes pride in how they present themselves.

Favourite piece from the ENLIST collection
My favourite piece is the Band Detail Sweater, it is super comfy and can be worn with jeans or chinos which will complete my relaxed look.
